Biography:
Albert Waitt is a long time resident of Maine. Summer to Fall, his first novel, was published in 2013 by Barrel Fire Press. The Ruins of Woodman's Village, a mystery set on the Maine coast, has been contracted by Level Best Books for a 2013 release. It will be the first of a series featuring Police Chief LT Nichols. Waitt's short fiction has appeared in The Literary Review, Third Coast, The Beloit Fiction Journal, Words and Images, Stymie: A journal of sport and literature, and other publications. Waitt is a graduate of Bates College and the Creative Writing Program at Boston University. Varied experiences from years of tending bar, teaching college writing classes, playing three-chord guitar, coaching, and frying clams can be seen throughout his work.
